RYA Day Skipper Theory Course
This course equips you with enough knowledge to navigate around familiar waters by day, and is perfect for the inexperienced skipper. Nomad Sailing teach this course in small groups over 7 evenings, one day a week and a weekend. Not only will you meet other like-minded people who you may end up sailing with but either Jim or Lou will always be on hand to help you with anything you don't understand. Homework forms part of the course and again we are always available should you get stuck with that, why struggle with a long correspondence course or work on-line when you can be face to face with real people.
In conjunction with the UK Hydrographic Office we use a chart plotter specifically for these training courses, giving you a realistic insight into electronic navigation. Use of this plotter is an integral part of Nomad's Day Skipper shorebased course.
