Take a five day holiday on the water, learning together how to sail, preparing lines, making safety checks, dealing with emergency situations and navigating the waters safely.

After a spending the week with your RYA qualified instructor, you will feel much better equipped to take that first flotilla holiday or bare boat charter.

RYA qualifications can be obtained during this week. Prices are all inclusive for up to 6 people (5 if RYA qualifications are to be gained).

  An ideal training ground for a family, with short passages between harbours and anchorages and plenty of opportunity to everyone to have a go.

  Cross Channel Weekend.

  Leaving on Friday evening you will have a night crossing to France during which you will be part of a watch system, arriving on Saturday morning. The yacht will be skippered by by an RYA Instructor. You will have the opportunity to experience navigating through the busy shipping lanes and into the French port of Cherbourg, if you wish.

  After catching up on some sleep you have a full day and evening to explore ashore before leaving early Sunday morning for the passage back to Gosport. Prices from £295.00.

  Visit France and beautiful islands of Herm and Sark

  Visit various ports & harbours on the Cherbourg peninsula as well as the beautiful islands of Herm and Sark with their wild flower meadows, secluded beaches and no cars! On these 5 & 7 day voyages you will be able to complete an RYA qualification, brush up on skills or just relax and enjoy the views. Navigators will enjoy the challenging pilotage provided by these Islands. Prices from £525.

  Skippered Charter

  Skippers are available at all the locations around the globe where Nomad has yachts available for charter. Skippered charters can be arranged in the UK, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.

  With a Nomad Skipper, you will be able to discover the delights of your yacht charter destination at your own pace, exploring, relaxing and safe in the knowledge that someone else is taking care of the day-to-day running of your yacht.
