9 Day Theory and Practical - Combined Course
This combined practical and theory course will enable you to gain full RYA Day Skipper certification in just nine days. You will start in our fully equiped classroom at Gosport Premier Marina for 4 days to get a good grounding in the Day Skipper Theory elements of the course including chartwork, navigational techniques, passage planning, pilotage, buoyage, sounds, shapes safety etc. Following the theory element you will then set sail to complete various practical exercises and navigation around the Solent staying overnight in different harbours and marinas. The Solent has it all, with busy tidal waters you will encounter numerous different craft, great variety of places to go with good passage and pilotage opportunities.Accomodation for the theory element can be offered on one of our boats for a minimal cost of £25 per night and will include breakfast supplies, tea and coffee etc. During the practical element of the course all meals are provided, breakfast, lunch, evening meals and snacks. All mooring fees are included, diesel and wet weather gear should it be required. We have no hidden extra costs.
