How many times have you heard the coast guard being called due to engine failure? This Diesel Engine Course will teach you to trouble shoot many of the issues you may face, problems with power, raw water, fuel blockage and much more. This one day course will teach you the principles of diesel engines, parts of the engine, how it actually operates and what you can do to rectify common problems. We will also cover routine maintenance and winter lay up procedures. Our engine is on a stand which allows you to see all around the engine, we also have many spares from different engines for you to have a look at.

This course is a must do for all yachtsman , on completion you will have a much better understanding of how diesel engines work and you will receive the RYA Diesel Engine Course Certificate.

These courses take place on a weekend day in our classroom at Gosport Marina, Endeavour Quay and run in conjuction over the same weekend with either RYA First Aid or VHF Radio Course so why not bundle it up?
