RYA Day Skipper Motor course aims to provide the knowledge and skills required to skipper a motor boat by day, in familiar waters, but includes an element of night hours to boost your confidence at night sailing.
Most students will have completed the Day Skipper Theory course before joining the practical, although this is not always necessary.
Over the 4 days you will cover berthing and boat handling in a range of situations, carry out several passages, including the navigation, and will experience life onboard a motor boat. This is a great opportunity to learn not only from our experienced instructors, but also the others on the boat. Students will take it in turns to skipper the boat. All food is provided (except 1 evening meal)
